ACTOR Josh Radnor has surprised fans by announcing his engagement on Live With Kelly and Mark.
The How I Met Your Mother star's fiancee is unknown to the public.
Josh, 49, appeared on the show to discuss his latest single, Learning.
He talked about the song, moving to Brooklyn, his puppy, Nelson, his upcoming 50th birthday, and his fiancee.
After Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, 52, and Josh finished talking about their dogs, Kelly, 53, said she had to bring something up.
"I'm going to bring this up because it's in your notes," she said. "You turned 49 over the summer."

"I did," Josh confirmed.
"Do you have a party planned for the big 5-0?" the host wondered.
Josh smiled and said: "It's interesting that you ask this. No, I don't."
"You don't?" Kelly asked.

"Well, my fiancee- I got engaged recently," Josh revealed. "And my fiancee's birthday is a day before mine."
"Oh, wow," Mark said.
"So, we now have like a 48-hour birthday," Josh explained.
"Which is great because I don't like my birthday very much. I get very self-reflective. I think, 'Am I living my life correctly?'"
"I don't like birthdays," Josh admitted. "But I feel like somehow aligning myself with my fiancee's birthday makes it kind of more fun."
"We can collaborate on a party together. So, she's going to plan something," Josh told the hosts.
"Ok. That's good. So you have her on it?" Kelly asked.
"Yes, because I would blow it," Josh said.
He told the hosts that he would call everyone up the night before asking them if they were free.
JOSH'S LOVE
The world watched Josh fall in love with multiple women on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother and eventually find the one he married.
Although that was very public, his real-life love life is very private.
It is so private that the identity of his fiancee has not been publicly revealed.
Josh confirmed he got engaged "recently," but that is all that was made public.
It is not clear if she is famous or not, and if he will ever reveal her.
In February, Josh posted a photo of his and his fiancee's hands as they held them together.
"It took us a moment but we eventually cracked how to best hold hands…?" he captioned the Instagram post.
Many of his followers flocked to his comments to ask who she was while others said that he found his Tracy, which is the name of the woman he married on the sitcom.
FEARS ABOUT MARRIAGE
Although he didn't reveal any details about the woman he is set to marry, Josh did confirm he was in a relationship in November 2022.
The actor revealed to Page Six at the premiere of his mini-series, Fleishman Is in Trouble, that he was happy in his relationship.
“During the filming of this, I was very much newly with someone [who] I’m still with and continue to be very excited about," he told the outlet.
That woman is most likely who he is engaged to today.
This will be Josh's first marriage.
He revealed to Page Six about why he has never tied the knot.
“In some ways, I’ve always been scared of a bad marriage, spouses that were at odds with each other," Josh said.

"So there’s something relieving about being able to play that out in a fictional context. Maybe it means you won’t have to do as much of that in real life," he said of the series.
Josh has previously dated Minka Kelly, Lindsay Price, and Abigail Spencer.
