According to Billboard, the English translation of the post reads: "Dear Alzada friends and family, with profound sadness we’re informing you about the death of our brother, Lefty SM, Juan Carlos Sauceda.

Carlos Félix, a PR rep for Alzada Records, told Billboard Español that the rapper was shot twice and declared dead at a local hospital.
