A HARRY Potter-mad mum is trying to smash the world record for the biggest collection of memorabilia.
Victoria Maclean, 38, first started collecting when she was 21 – and she hasn’t stopped.

Victoria, from South Wales, has filled her house with books, bags, jewellery, clothes and even toys associated with the wizarding world.
Her collection now stands at around 4,000 items, but the mum wants to smash the world record.
The mum-of-three said: “I read the first book in a fortnight and I was completely and utterly in love.
“It’s been a bit of an obsession since then.

“I was 21 – a bit old, I couldn’t go to Hogwarts – so I decided to bring Hogwarts to me.
“So I bought everything I could and it snowballed from there.”
Her most prized possession is a 24 carat gold-plated Golden Snitch puzzle piece, from Japan.
It's one of only 500 made, and took her six years to get hold of.

The current world record holder is Menahem Asher Silva Vargas, from Mexico, who has 3,097 items.
Victoria is confident she has around 4,000, and is hoping to win the title from him.
Her collection is set to be officially counted, and it should also give Victoria, from Neath, an idea of how much its worth.
She added: “Most importantly for me, I’d be bringing the record home because it’s currently in Mexico and I want it back in the UK,” Metro reported.
